Welcome To our Website

Nesara Constructions & Rainwater Harvesting stands as a premier consultant and contractor in the field of Rainwater Harvesting in Bangalore. With over 15 years of expertise, we have successfully completed more than 5000 installations across homes, apartments, industries, and institutions.

What we do

Roof Top Rainwater Harvesting

Rainwater will be harvested from the building's rooftop for reuse.

Borewell Recharging from Rooftop

Rainwater from building rooftops can be directly injected into bore wells for most efficient recharging of deeper aquifer.

Ground water Recharging

Recharging a shallow aquifer can be effectively achieved through a recharge well system from surface run-off water.

FEW THINGS ABOUT RAINWATER HARVESTING (RWH)

Rainwater Harvesting involves the collection and storage of rainwater for reuse. Rainwater gathered from the roofs of houses, factories, and institutions can significantly contribute to the availability of drinking water and other uses. It can also enhance the subsoil water level by refilling aquifers, a process known as groundwater recharging. The rainwater's quality is contingent upon the cleanliness of catchments, gutters, storage tanks, and filters. Rooftop catchment areas accumulate dust, organic matter, leaves, and bird droppings, which can pollute the stored water and lead to sediment accumulation in the tank. Proper installation and maintenance of rainwater harvesting systems and storage are crucial. An appropriate inlet filter should be installed along with the downpipes to block leaves and other debris from entering the storage. Recognizing the need for an effective RWH filter,FARMLAND RAINWATER HARVESTING SYSTEMS has developed an innovative filter named 'RAINY'.

METHODS OF RAINWATER HARVESTING

Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting for Re-utilization

Connect all the rainwater outlet pipes from the rooftop at appropriate positions and lead them down to the inlet of the filter, which should be wall-mounted at the nearest point of use. Then, connect the filter's outlet to your chosen option.

OPTION-1

Filtered rainwater can be collected in existing or newly constructed tanks for reuse.

This method can satisfy up to 40% of water requirements, thereby reducing water bills and reliance on municipal supplies. Rainwater, being the purest form of water, is suitable for all uses, including drinking, after appropriate boiling or RO/UV filtration.

OPTION-2

Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting for Borewell Recharging.

Filtered rainwater can be directly recharged into a borewell by connecting it to the casing pipe, as long as the roof area does not exceed 200 square meters. Direct injection into the borewell aquifer aids in maintaining the water level, reducing groundwater hardness, and decreasing fluoride content.

SURFACE RUN-OFF RAINWATER HARVESTING FOR GROUND WATER RECHARGING BY RECHARGING WELL/PIT

Rainwater, not collected from rooftops and known as surface runoff, is directed downstream. Initially, it passes through a filtration chamber to remove dirt particles, then it is channeled into a recharging well or pit for ground percolation. This process benefits the shallow aquifer by enhancing its recharge and improving soil saturation, which aids trees and plants in drawing moisture during dry periods. Additionally, it significantly mitigates urban flooding. However, the impact of groundwater recharging on bore wells may vary.
